Analysis of work attitudes effect on in-role performance and organizational citizenship behavior (ocb)

Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to develop recommendations for improving the performance of health centers based on the results of the analysis work attitudes at the Puskesmas Tanah Kalikedinding. This study was an analytic observational. The sampling technique using a total sample of 49 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The questionnaire used in this study has tested the validity and reliability with result was valid and reliable. Statistical test used was multiple regression with attention to the assumptio++ns for multiple regression test. Variables that did not meet the assumptions will then using simple regression test. The study found that POS had no effect on job satisfaction, job involvement and organizational commitment, whereas POR effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, but had no effect on job involvement of employees at Puskesmas Tanah Kalikedinding. Perceived Organizational Support (POS) effect on in-role performance but had no effect on OCB where as POR had no effect either directly on in-role performance and OCB of employees at the Puskesmas Tanah Kalikedinding. Work attitudes (job satisfaction, job involvement and organizational commitment) was not effect on in-role performance but the effect on OCB. There was a relationship between in-role performance and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in employee at Puskesmas Tanah Kalikedinding. Recommendations for Puskesmas Tanah Kalikedinding based on research results obtained is to improve organizational support, POR and job involvement. Assessment of in-role performance and OCB in this study using a self appraisal, for further research is recommended to use the ratings by superiors.
