Abstract :

This study aims to analyze the interaction of mothers and health workers to compliance fully immunized infants inBangkalan based on the theory of Interaction Model of Client Health Behavior (IMCHB). This study is an observationalanalytic study. Interviews were conducted on mothers of children aged 1-2 years who had been immunized as many as351 respondents. The sampling method uses multistage sampling with 36 clusters and the determination of respondentsusing snowball techniques. The studied variables were maternal factors and the role of health workers. Tests conductedwith chi square (p<0.05). The results showed there are significant relation between role of health workers (affectivesupport, health information, decision control, skills) and maternal factors that consisting of motivation, comprehension andresponse to immunization compliance (p=0.000 <α 0.05), while there are no significant relation between comprehensionand maternal motivation with society support. The conclusion is the maximum role of health workers can increase maternalmotivation, comprehension, and response to immunization compliance. Recommendation can be given about the strictregulation, direct control to the health workers behavior especially about immunization services, while management canmanage the actions of health workers so the organization goals can be achieved.
