Abstract :
Abstract Policewoman parenting is something unique, because children raised by a mother figure who has little time for her children. Qualitative methods used in this study to describe the problem descriptively. From the analysis of the data in this study can be concluded about parenting. Employment background as a police informant and care by region of origin can affect parenting. Judging from the style of parenting that investigators obtained from interviews, the researchers concluded that five of the six informants applying authoritative parenting style, which encourages children to be independent but still apply limits and controls on their actions. Meanwhile, one informant implement authoritarian parenting, which is limiting and punishing style, where parents urge their children to follow directions and respect the work and effort. Education for the informant is very important for children related to their future. Education are preferred and are given early religious education. The relationship between the informant can be communicated with her husband in building a family. For the informants, the perception of gender is gender equality. So between men and women equal in terms of opportunities to work, to education.
