      Abstract :

The purpose of this experiment is to know the water that could be decreased on alginate impression and did not influence the linear demention of working cast. This experiment comprised of five group of five specimens each. The first group, as control, had water powder ratio 8,4 mg/20 ml. The test group consisted of the second group with water powder ratio 8.4 g/91.5 ml, the third group with ratio 8.4 g/19 ml, the forth group with ratio 8.4 g/18.5 ml and the fifth group with ratio 8.4 g/5 ml. The linear demention of working cast was measured op ProfileProjector. Results was analyzed with Anava test and continued with Tuckey HSD test using computer program SPSS. It was concluded that decreasing water volume 1.5 ml did not influence the linear demention of working cast.
