Haemotologic consideration in the treatment of oral and maxillofacial surgery cases

      Abstract :

      Bleeding disorders may cause a serious problem prior or after a surgical intervention in oral and maxillofacial surgery field. A careful observation of the blood diathesis status is very necessary and helpful to prevent a bleeding as a surgical complication. Previous history and some clinical symptoms are usually present in a patient with hematologic disorders which lead a bleeding tendency. A complication can be avoided if careful preparation is done before the surgical intervention and a good knowledge of hemostatis also necessary to cope problem related with bleeding disorders.
