Abstract :

It has discussed about microscopic preparation on pulpitis case. Since the pilp tissue has been located in the hard layer of tooth and had a tiny size and jelly properties, special treatment and accuracy is needed to process and stain the pulp tissue. In embedding it, the pulp tissue is positioned in which a thin and longitudinal cut can be obtained from the crown to the apical. Due to this tiny size of the tissue, it is always suggested to collect cuts as many as possible so that there won’t be any cut left useless. To get better picture of the hystopathologic change of the pulp tissue caused by inflammation, it is used morphologic approach using the Hematoxylin Eosin staining. While, to get picture of immunopathologic change, morphofunctional approach of immunoperoxidase staining is used.
