Author :

      Abstract :

The pomegranate rind infusions (Granati fructus cortex) in the phytochemistry screening contain alkaloids (pelletierine) and Flavonoids (leukoantosianidin, flavonol, dihydrokalkon), Which both group compound have an anti bacterial agent to E.coli. These infusions, be based on talked about explanation may have an anti bacterial agent to S.mutans. The purpose of the study was to determine the minimum anti bacterial concentration of pomegranate rind infusions to S.mutans. The method used in the study was anti bacterial test of serial dilution with concentration 100%, 50%, 25%, 12,50%, 6,25%, 3,13% and 1,56%. The result of this study was that the minimum anti bacterial concentration of pomegranate rind infusions to S.mutans was of 12,5%.
