The pattern of persistence of deciduous anterior teeth in elementary school children in sub district coblong bandung municipality

Abstract :
The study was carried auto to obtain the pattern of persistence of deciduous anterior teeth in children of 7 to 12 year of age. Thus range of age was considered as a critical period of the dentofacial growth and development. The population under study was primary school children in Coblong sub district, Bandung municipality. The sampling technique was one stage cluster and 1150 were selected. The result of the study showed that there was not any difference in alter of persistence based on frequency in boy and girl; number of persistent teeth were greater in mandibular than maxilla, and the greatest percentage was in the 8 year group.
