Abstract :

Drug resistance surveillance in Surabaya City Health Department is part of a large survey conducted by the East JavaProvincial Health Department. In this surveillance the offi cials of city health department collect sputum smear of positiveTB patients to be sent to BBLK Surabaya and the resistance test can doing. From surveillance activities need to beevaluated to improve the utilization of existing resources. One of evaluation is can doing based of attributes surveillance.The study design used is quantitative descriptive research with qualitative data supported that used to support thediscussion of the results of the study. This study evaluated the drug resistance surveillance system in Surabaya City HealthDepartment based attributes surveillance. The subject of research is a surveillance offi cer at the City Health Departmentand Kedurus Community Health Center is a location surveillance. The results showed not all the nine attributes ofsurveillance can be seen in the evaluation of the drug resistance surveillance and not all attributes are met. Because drugresistance surveillance carried out for the fi rst time and City Health Department not the main implementing, the attributesthat can be seen only the attributes of simplicity, acceptability, timeliness, data quality, and data stability. However, thesurveillance system has a low stability data because drug resistance surveillance form less well ordered and neat so it isdiffi cult to fi nd the required data.
