Abstract :
Objective: To report the combination of cutler-beard flap, V-Y glabellar flap and direct closure for large resection upper eyelid and medial canthals. Methods: Case report. A Woman 65 years old with chief complained of tumor in right upper eyelid since 6 months ago. The examination showed the visual acuity three meters finger counting with BCVA 5/30 in both eyes. There was no ocular motility disturbances. The diameter of tumor was 2 cm, from middle of upper eyelid until medial canthal. Pathological examination revealed adenocarcinoma of the upper eyelid. The management of this case was wide excision and reconstructed with three technique combination. There were cutler-beard flap, V-Y glabellar flap and direct closure. The advantages of these three combined technique were effective and guaranteed the blood supply to the flap for long lasting. The right eye were occluded by the flap of three months. Result: After three months the flap was released. Right upper eyelid and left upper eyelid looked similar. Conclusion: Large resection of the upper eyelid and medial canthal tissues can be reconstructed with combination of cutler-beard flap, V-Y glabellar flap, and direct closure.
