Abstract :

This study is useful to look at the dynamics of resilience in male inmates. Resilience is consideredimportant in the context of prisoners, as prisoners are not resilient, once released will tend torepeat the same mistake of not being able to adapt and rise from the ground. Theme resiliencemale inmates selected because of the lack of resilience theme that uses subject prisoners inIndonesia. The lack of resilience topics male prisoners in Indonesia due to the concept ofresilience is more widely used in the context of natural disasters. This study uses interviews andLife History Quesionaire given to 6 inmates. As a result, individuals who have a high resiliencedue to the support person nearby, spirituality, and age. While the length of sentences has noeffect on the ability of prisoners resilience capability.
