Abstract :

Abstract Social media is a creation of technological advancements in this modern age. Everyone uses social media, including adults, not just teenagers. The massive use of social media certainly affects online privacy. For this reason, researchers are very interested in revealing how privacy strategies are taken by adult social media users. Because researchers assume that adults lack understanding of information technology unlike younger teenagers. This research is here to reveal how privacy concerns among adults and how adults' strategies in dealing with privacy issues continue to threaten when we use social media. 100 adults who used social media were selected as a research sample using avalaible sampling. This study found that adults had moderate or even high privacy concerns, in this study it was proven that adults had moderate privacy concerns of 56% while the other 44% had high privacy concerns. But it seems even more enhanced for broad understanding of privacy. Keywords: Privacy Concern, Adults, Social Media Users.
