Abstract :
This article aims to uncover why politics of land is strongly intervene by state through “political formula” of public interests. Is this formula relevance to the political context and society’s recent situation? Generally society and farmers in particular, are expected to have an egalitarian society with an equal access to productive resources so that it will increase national products. In return, politics of land term, can create mutual cycle between agricultural and industrial sectors, public and state as well as investors. There are, however, possibilities of structural violence and objection as it historically cannot be separated with development process in this country. Further, colonial aggression in implementing politics of land is continuously transformed into new and different faces.
