Abstract :

The implementation of new regulation on labor in Indonesia is expected to protect labors who work overseas. However, this regulation has several weaknesses. This situation affects the way labors have been treaded , for example, discrimination in salary, working hour, violence, human rights and law. It is contradictory situation when examining the fact that their contributions in the form of remittance are very high for their original hometown.
