Abstract :
This research aims to identify the significance of political thoughts in the contemporary drama Panembahan Reso and Republik Bagong. The dominant political thought are: nonviolence and rational politics; politics with open attitude, a white-thought, friendship, and good attitude; politics that does not sacrifice huma; politics that accomulates useful messages and thoughts, solidarity politics; politics of hero characteristics, and politics oriented to justice and truth. The significance of the political thoughts leads to the creation of politics that prioritizes humanities and nonviolence, good attitude, humanity, and a sense of friendshipthat become the main foundation of the practice in the political will.
