Abstract :

Individuals who sustain burn injury often experience substantial biological, psychological, and psychosocial stressors. They will require a comprehensive interdisiplinary treatment, including Consultation Liaison Psychiatry (CLP). Recognition and early intervention of psychological issues, and also adequate pain management are important components of burn injury management. A holistic approach will be expected to enhance patient’s functional capacity, to contribute to the community re-integration dan to improve the quality of life.
