Abstract :

This study  used qualitative descriptive research  method.  It  was aimed to know  the  social  adjustment procces among student who had hearing impairment which study in public shoool. Respondents of the  research  were three  hearing impairment  students  with three  significant  others. Significant  other were parent, teacher and best friend. Data was collected by interview. Result of the research have shown  that  all  respondents  have  good  social  adjustment  skill.  The  first  respondent  has  effective  social adjusment,  although sometimes  he was disturbed  by  his friend.  The  second respondent  has effective social  adjusment,  too. She  can made social  adjusment  although sometimes  she  looks  introvert  when she  was with her  friend.  The  third  respondent  has  enough  ability  in  social  adjusment.  She  can't  speak well  with  her  friend,  but  she  always  work  hard  to  join  with  other  people  in  her  school.
