Abstract :

ABSTRACT Bleeding still be the top three causes of maternal deaths in Indonesia, a lot of things that cause bleeding in the mother during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum, both direct causes and indirect causes. This study aims at finding out the difference volume bleeding in stage IV with early breastfeeding (IMD) and anemia in Surabaya. This research was conducted with cross-sectional design using a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data obtained from partograf sheet and card status patients with a sample of 30 cards status. The independent variable in this study are IMD and anemia and the dependent variable in this study is in IV stage bleeding volume. The prevalence of bleeding in IV stage were found in this study was 10%, which does not apply IMD of 26.6%, 63.3% anemia. Tests using independent samples t-test showed that there were differences of bleeding volume in stage IV with IMD, anemia (p < 0.05) Keywords: IMD, anemia, bleeding volume in stage IV
