Time patern of curcuma zedoaria etract against amount of mice pulmonary nodules indusced by benzo(α)pyrene

Abstract :

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak etanol Curcuma zedoaria terhadap pertumbuhan tumor paru pada mencit jantan yang diinduksibenzo (α)pyrene. Mencit yang baru lahir diinduksi dengan 0,2 μmol, 0,4 μmol, dan 0,8 μmol benzo(α)pyrene intraperitoneal pada hari ke 1, 8, dan 15 setelah lahir. Pada hari ke-21 setelah lahir, dipilih mencit jantan dan didistribusikan ke dalam 5 kelompok. Kelompok 1 adalah kontrol positif B(α)P dan kelompok 2 adalah kontrol negatif dengan diberi DMSO 2% (pelarut). Kelompok 3, 4 dan 5 diobati dengan Curcuma zedoaria Rosc. ekstrak etanol berturut-turut 500 mg / kgBB. Mencit dibedah pada usia 4 bulan, dan paru-paru dikumpulkan untuk pemeriksaan nodul tumor secara makroskopik. Intensitas karsinogenisitas dinyatakan dengan jumlah nodul tumor paru mencit. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwaekstrak etanolCurcuma zedoaria Rosc. pada hari ke-20, setiap 2 kali seminggu sampai 8 minggu dapat menghambat pertumbuhan tumor paru pada mencit jantan hingga 61,29%.
