Abstract :

Disease that often attack carp was Motile Aeromanas Septicaemia caused by Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. Prevention can be held using Aloe vera has been known as an immunostimulant. The objective of the study was to find out the effect of Aloe vera juice was given by artificial feed as non specific immune response and Survival Rate of carp infected by Aeromonas hydrophila. This was experimental study using Completely Randomized Design with 6 dose treatments i.e. 0 ml/kg, 200 ml/kg, 400 ml/kg, 600 ml/kg, 800 ml/kg and 1000 ml/kg. Each treatment has four replications. The observed parameters were phagocytic index, phagocytic rates and survival rates of carp infected by Aeromonas hydrophila. The result showed that the phagocytic index value, phagocytic rates and survival rates of carp increase than control after challenge test by Aeromonas hydrophila. The optimum dose of Aloe vera by artificial feed was 600 ml/kg.
