Abstract :

The aims of this study were to know the effect of diet that L-carnitine supplement content on the improved of the development of tiger prawn Penaeus monodon Fab. larval. The method that used in this research was experiment with Complete Randomize Design. Treatments that used were L-carnitine supplement dosages; 0, 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 ppm. Three replicates were carried out for each treatment. Parameters test were Larval Stage Index and survival rate of tiger prawn larval. Data analysis that used were statistic with F Test (ANOVA).
