Abstract :
The development in agricultural smallholder sector in Indonesia are always integrated into the economic structure of the village life in order to control the livestock distribution, mobilization, disease inventarisation, high risk population to some disease and diseases investigation is not just a simple work. These are present such activities across a wide region, sectors and also the local government planners involvement. Geography can plays a crusial role in agriculture sector, because the location of the providers and facilities information data as a “key” can affects quality of the report and planning of local government within the region. Therefore, this paper discusses the ways of the GIS are being used, to serve these activities. Also, this paper focus on application of GIS technology by local government (Kabupaten) and the institution in the following areas : tracking the spread of disease, livestock inventarisation and distribution. It also can be used for providing the data support, analyses and research. The resources data has been taken from Bojonegoro regency as a case study.
