Anty sterility effct of alpha toropherol on spermatogenesys of the rat which stressor addition

      Abstract :

      The aim of the study was observed alpha tocopherol effects on the seminiferous tubules and seminiferous epithelium diameter, also the number of spermatocyte and spermatid in Rattus norvegicus who stressor addition.Statistical method of the study was Randomized Severate Sample Post-test Only Control Group. Negative and positive-controled was performed. Thirty five Rattus norvegicus (200-300 g body weight each) were divided into 5 groups, consists of 7 each. P1, P2 and P3 groups were treated with alpha tocopherol 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg bw, respectively, and stressor treated for 21 days. However significantly difference on groups was alpha tocopherol treated on 100 and 200 mg/kg bw tend to increased instead of positive control group.The conclusion of the study were the seminiferous tubules and seminiferous epithelium diameter were decreased cansed by stressor. The similar decreasing on number of spermatocyte and spermatid. Whether alpha tocopherol treated on dose 100 mg/kg bw could be avoid decreasing of tubules and epithelium seminiferous diameter, also the umber of spermatocyte and spermatide.
