Formulation study of control released dosage form of atenolol by mucoadhesive system

      Abstract :

      The control released dosage form of atenolol by mucoadhesive system contained the combination of Carbopol 934P, Metolose 90SH-4000 and Metolose 90SH-15000 polymer had been studied. Dissolution study showed was no sustained effect in HCl 0,1 N media. The addition of calcium carbonat up to 20% could cause sustained released of the atenolol in HCl 0,1 N media.
