      Abstract :

      The study was conducted in order to answer the questions that does the wild horse milk has an antimicrobial effect and are they any possibilities that the milk has been adultereted? The questions arrised when consumers beliefs that the milk able to cure the variours human disases, not just healthy drinks.The microbiological assay and several methods of adulteration tests were performed in order to detect the antimicrobial effect and the pureness of milk.The result shows that the wild horse milk distributed in Surabaya has an antimicrobial effect which indicated by formation of the inhibition area surrounding the paper discs (7 – 21 mm diameter). The adulteration tests indicated that there are no adulteration on the milk.
