The influence of the desmodium triquestrum on the dissolution capacity of the orthosiphon stamineus on the artificial kidney stone in male rat

      Abstract :

      The aim of this research is to explore the synergistic effect of Daun duduk (Desmodium triquetrum) on the Daun Kumis kucing (Orthosiphon Stamineus) as a blast stone dissolution. The research was performed on male rat, that had been inserted on artificial blast stone.The treatment was performed on three, as factor: (1) Kumis kucing alone; (2) Combination of Kumis kucing and Daun duduk; (3) Control group ( no drug addition).The results show that after 21 days evaluation there was an significantly different between control group against the others both of the treatment (Kumis kucing alone on Kumis kucing with the addition of Daun duduk), (p < 0,05). There was not statistically different between group treatment of Kumis kucing against the combination of Kumis kucing with Daun duduk. There are not statistically different on the increasing of ten drug dose, both Kumis kucing as alone (36 mg/200 gr BW/day; 180 mg; and 900 mg) or combination of Kumis kucing and Daun duduk(36 + 36 mg/200gr BW/day; 180 mg+ 180g and 900 mg + 900 mg.It is neded and additional sutudy about the effect of Daun duduk alone a blast stone dissolution drug.
