Abstract :

The aim of this study was to empirically examine the prediction of  personal interest, classroom goal structure, and personal goal orientation to academic cheating intention. Participants were 76 students consisted of 34 boys and 42 girls. Data collection devices were vignette of academic cheating intention which developed by researcher based on cheating intention theory’s Sierra and Hyman, personal interest scale which developed based on personal interest theory’s Schiefele. While classroom goal structure scale and personal goal orientation measured by scale which developed by researcher based on goal orientation theory’s Ames. Result of this study indicated the value of F regression model was 0,468 coefficient probability (p) was 0,705>0,05. While the regression equation was Y = 59,314 - 0,016X1 – 1,978X2 – 1,739X3. Therefore, we can conclude that  regression model  was not good to used as a prediction of personal interest, classroom goal structure, and personal goal orientation to academic cheating intention among high school.
