Abstract :

Employees are an important thing in an organization. Both at an organizational profit and non-profit organizations. Employees of the organization is worth noting,The organization must pay attention to their staff indeed with the organization more pay attention to them, they seems have effect to their performance. If the performance of high employee should attempt to provide high motivation and work environment that is reliable. That way the employee's performance will be increased. In this research conducted in a Library Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between work motivation (X1) and work environment (X2) on the performance of employees in the Library Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya. In this study, using a total sampling as many as 38 people. The method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression. Based on data analysis concluded that work motivation (X1) partially has no influence on employee performance (Y), and the work environment (X2) partially does not have a significant influence on employee performance (Y). At the level of influence motivation and work environment on the performance of the employees have significant value 0.854 and the value of α of 0.05 (sig> α), means that the independent variables (motivation and work environment) simultaneously does not have significant influence on the dependent variable ( the performance of employees) in the Library Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya
