Abstract :

Anguilla sp. has a very wide spread in the tropics and sub-tropics making known the eel tropical and sub-tropical eel. Eel fish growth is relatively slow, to reach a marketable size (100-250 g) eel fishing takes 12-18 months. Factor than the growth rate is determined on the quality of feed given, so as to spur the growth of eel fish feed animal protein is necessary to provide a high. The purpose to determine the effect of the addition of different attractants in pasta feed on growth, feed conversion ratio and survival rate of fish eel (Anguilla bicolor). The research method used was experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and four replications. The treatments used were: oil + shrimp pasta feed (A), feed oil eel paste + (B) + pasta feed oil milkfish (C), oil + squid pasta feed (D) and feed the pasta without attractant (E). Parameters measured were supporting water quality. The results showed that administration of attractant on feed pasta does not give a significantly different effect on the weight growth, feed conversion ratio and survival rate of fish eel (p> 0.05). Survival rate levels of that obtained during the research was 100%. Water quality maintenance media eel fish are temperature 28 º - 28.5 º C, pH 7-8, dissolved oxygen 4-8 mg / l and ammonia from 1.5 to 2 mg / l.
