Abstract :
At the present time, cancer is one of the deathly diseases in the world. The cure for cancer can be done by operation, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Many patient, conversely, attempt to employ traditional therapy, especially from plants. Ageratum conyzoides L. herb, has local name bandotan, is one of the anticancer plants that is efficacious empirical. The aim of this research is to know anticancer activity from Ageratum conyzoides L. herb. The one method is by cytotoxicity assay to mouse myeloma cell culture, and it was determined by cell viability method using trypan blue exclusion to make a distinction between viable cell and nonviable cell.
