Abstract :
Virgin Coconut Oil which made from coconut fruit has many potential effects to cure the various diseases. One of these was ability to cure dermatophytosis caused by Microsporum sp and Trichophyton sp. Dermatophytosis can cause red skin, loss hair and alopecia. Twenty cats, from different ages, were treated by VCO to dermatophytosis with different degrees. The time that was used vary from 5-40 days depend on degree of the disease. VCO was safe to be used on cats to cure dermatophytosis.
