Abstract :

The aim of this study to prove the function of peritoneal liquid of mice that activated with several antigen as immunologic adjuvant of New Castle Disease (ND) vaccine and to know the ability this adjuvant in increase humoral immune response of chicken that protein less in the consumption. This study divided by two stages. The first stage using four groups of mice, every group were injected with phosphate buffer saline (PBS), inactive ND virus, bovine serum albumin (BSA), or inactive Listeria monocytogenes, by intra-peritoneal. After third day, the peritoneal liquid were harvested and used as the adjuvant ND vaccine. The second stage using 48 male layer chickens that divided into two group, group given 20 % protein diet and the other group with 15 % protein diet. Every group divided into four sub groups and every subgroup vaccinated with ND virus by using every adjuvant from the first stage. The result showed that peritoneal liquid of mice activated with inactive L. monocytogenes can increase antibody titer to the chickens that less of protein diet.
