Abstract :

The objective of this study was to investigate the ability two extenders in maintain viability and membrane integrity of canine epididymal spermatozoa during cold storage at 5C. Epidydimal sperm was collected from cauda epididymis by flushing technique with physiological saline and then diluted in Tris egg yolk 20% and Andromed® for four days. The result showed that the initial percentage of progressive motility in both extenders were not significant different (72.00  2.45 %in Tris egg yolk and 69.00  2.00 % in Andromed®) respectively (p>0.05).
