Abstract :

Pada proses penyembuhan fraktur, sering terjadi delayed union maupun non-union. Penggunaan Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMP) menjadi salah satu solusi untuk masalah ini. Beberapa penelitian membuktikan bahwa BMP membantu meningkatkan regenerasi penyembuhan fraktur dengan kasus sulit pada sejumlah pasien. Tinjauan pustaka ini membahas pengenalan BMP dan efisiensi daripada penggunaan klinis BMP. Saat ini, rhBMP-2 dan rhBMP-7 menunjukkan hasil klinis yang signifikan namun subfamili BMP lainnya masih dalam penelitian.
