Biopotensi pmsg (pregnant mare serum gonadotrophin) local horse to speed time arising estrus, number of follicles, corpus luteum, progesterone levels and pregnancy rate in madura cattle

Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to evaluate biopotency of PMSG from local horse (Gonaplas) and PMSG from paten product ( Gonaser® ) to onset of estrus time, follicle number, corpus luteum number, progesteron level and pregnancy rate of Madura cattle. This study used 20 female Madura cattle divided by 4 treatment group. All of the cattle were  syncronized of their estrus cycle. After that control group ( K ) was injected by 500 IU Gonaser, P1,P2 and P3 were injected by PMSG Gonaplas with dosage 500 IU, 250 IU and 125 IU respectively. After injected of PMSG the onset of estrus time were being evaluate and than using two dimention USG follicle number were examined,level of progesteron were determined by using ELISA methode. Cattle than inseminated by using frozen semen. Seven days after artificial insemination, the number of corpus luteum were determined by using two dimention USG. Forty days later pregnamcy rate were evaluated. The result of this study showed that there were no significance different of onset estrus time, follicle number, corpus luteum number and pregnancy rate between control,P1 and P2 group. Follicle number and progesteron level of P3 group were higest value and have a significant different with the other three group.
