Abstract :

ABSTRACT   The aims of this study was to determined the effect of addition protein Fetility Associated Antigen (FAA) in dilution on capacitation and acrosome reaction spermatozoa post thawing in frozen semen. This study were used frozen semen sampel of bovine in a straw form that divided into 4 treatment, control without the addition of the FAA (P0), the addition of the FAA with a dose 5 µg  (P1), the addition of the FAA with a dose 10 µg (P2) and the addition of FAA with a dose 15 µg (P3). After be thawing then performed capacitation and acrosome reaction spermatozoa. Data were analyzed with  Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's multiple range test. The study results of capacitation and acrosome reaction percentages were showed significant differences between treatments (p> 0.05). The conclusions of this study were  in addition of the Fertility Associated Antigen (FAA) with a dose 15 µg were able decreased capacitation and acrosome reaction spematozoa.
