Abstract :

Mental disorders is one of the main problems in the developed countries and developing countries. The interaction between genetic and environmental influences on the occurrence of schizophrenia more often observed in recent decades. As one of the causes of mental disorders, psychosocial stressors at this time because the more influential obtained data that schizophrenia is caused largely by the presence of psychosocial stressors. Pressure mainly due to the continuous and lasts longer stressor exposure. The concept of neural-diathesis may explain the underlying mechanism concept of behavioral sensitization to suggest that exposure to psychosocial stress such as life events, childhood trauma, or discriminatory experiences will further enhance the biological and behavioral responses. It can also be observed through dysregulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, which affects sensitization of dopamine in the mesolimbic and will increase the stress of striatal dopamine release.
