Abstract :

describing the factors that affect the practice of discourse. The goal promptedresearchers to examine in a study entitled "Critical Discourse Analysis on NovelKauravas Knight Defenders: Narasoma". This research method is descriptivequalitative. The results showed that: first, the critical discourse analysis seerepresentation or description text displayed events ranging from active to bringperpetrators sentences and semantically interpret deskridtif, describes between oneclause with the clause can be combined so that they form a sentence meaning or thesense of coherence or cohesion, and describe when two or more sentences are arrangedor combined clause that appears more prominent than the other clause, identificationreader is positioned on Narasoma character and position as opposed to Narasoma.Discursive practices regarding the author, the author ties with the organizationalstructure of the media (editors, editors, publishers and others) and the process of textproduction, media system and the economic system that also affect the discourse.
