Abstract :

The purpose of this study is to produce a text edits reperesentatif, and translation in Indonesian, aswell as revealing its structural elements and the meaning contained in the text of SY. The researchmethod used is the standard edition of the text editing area. Standard text method which publishesthe script by removing barriers wherever possible in the reading and understanding of the text, sothat a text can be used by researchers or other readers. This study resulted in SY text edits in textform good, clean copy of the error and write. Mistakes and write copy that includes 11 lacunaerror, 1 error adducts, 4 substitution errors, and 3 errors transposition errors and undetectedditografi. The results of the standard edition of the text edits, were analyzed using structural theorypragmatics. Analysis of the structural theory is fokus on integration elements of a literary work ingenerating the overall meaning an dintrinsic element in the form of themes, characterizations, andbackground. Meaning contained in the text of this SY is in living int his world like what happened toJoseph in the story contained in SY to always have admirable traits such as prejudice its good,forgiving, patient, not proud and wise.
