Abstract :
The title of this journal is “The Moving of Connotation In Short Story “Lintah” and“Melukis Jendela” to Mereka Bilang Saya Monyet! By Djenar Maesa Ayu. Ewhichsupposed to express the moving of connotation using Stanton’s structure theory, study ofcomparative literature by Sapardi Djoko and semiotics theory by Roland Barthes. Thenfound they have tight connection each other in structure, when every story is moved bymain actress, another character also appears as a response from actress action andexplain of connotation which is a message. This connotation os moved from short story tomovie and show that movie is explanation and confirmation of short story “Lintah” and“Melukis Jendela”.
