Application of human menopose gonadotrophin (hmg) toward follicle growth in cows ovary hypofunction

Abstract :

The aim of this study was to produce hMG from the urine of post-menopausal women on the onset of in vitro bovine embryonic cleavage. The study identified hMG from the urine of post-menopausal women by confirmation of the glycoprotein characteristic. Urine samples were collected from 30 post-menopausal women. The results of SDS-PAGE demonstrated that the protein bands ranged between 19.4 and 107 kDa. The protein filtrated by sephadex G- 50 and continued Western blot revealed immune-reactivity of the 30 kDa band. 25 fresian holstain with ovary hypofunction cows after 30 days feeding treatment devided become P0 (control groups) and treatment groups (P1, P2, P3) The time of oestrous after a treatment combinated hMG (200, 300, and 500 IU.im) and PGF2α (25 mg.im) on day 9 with PGF2α twice interval 11 days is 72,10 + 1,71 hours not deferences between control (PMSG 500 IU.im) and treatment groups (p > 0,05). Total dominant folicles control and treatment (p > 0,05) are 1,00 + 0,00 right ovary and 0,45 + 0,51 on left ovary used ultrasonography (USG).
