Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to obtain the correlation between impulsiveness andprocrastination behavior among college students that doing their final thesis. Subjects were 59college students at Faculty of Psychology Airlangga University who doing their final thesis in twosemesters or more. For sampling method, we used nonprobability purposive sampling to requiteparticipants. Barratt Impulsiveness Scale-11 (BIS-11) by Barratt (Patton, 1995) was used forassessing the impulsiveness and the Procrastination Tendency Scale by Tuckman (1991) forprocrastination behavior. Both of the questionnaires have been translated into Indonesianlanguage. Data was analyzed using Spearman's by SPSS version 16.0 For Windows. From thisstudy, there is a significant correlation between impulsiveness and procrastination behavioramong the college students who doing their final thesis (p = 0,002; r = 0,388).
