Abstract :

The aim of this research was to identify the influence of carbofuran exposure on embryonic period that one day and two weeks old chicken liver histopathologic. This research used Randomized Complete design with 3 treatments and repetition with 10 fertile eggs each. The control eggs, were injected 0.1 ml NaCl physiologic 0.09% to each egg. All of eggs were stored into incubator in 38oC and 60 – 80 % humidity. Observation to liver histopathologic were carried out in one day and two weeks old. The exposure of carbofuran in degraded dose of 1/12 and 1/10 LD50 of (as equal to 0.0106 and 0.0127 mg/egg) resulted in the significantly difference about necrose cell of centralis vein and Kiernan triangle. Increased of centralis vein and Kiernan triangle necrose cell caused increased oxidative stress and decreased activity of cytochrome P450.
