Abstract :

The experiment to be done to show the characterization of bacterial surface protein of Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis. A total of 5 strains of S. aureus and 14 strains of S. epidermidis were isolated during processing of 22 milk samples. The S. aureus and S. epidermidis strains were characterized phenotypically. The characterization of the expression of surface protein was used SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. The protein of clumping factor, protein A and coagulase were measured 40 kD, 55 kD and 86 kD of molecular weight, respectively from S.aureus and the other hand from S. epidermidis were not be found these proteins. The phenotypic and expression proteins finding of the research could be used to describe the epidemiological approach of these isolates, and might aid in bovine mastitis control in dairy herds.
