Abstract :

The aim of the research is to find out the difference of motility and viability spermatozoa of muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) on various concentration egg yolk fructose and skim milk. Sample in this research was muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) 10-12 month old. The semen was divided to four treatments. The first treatment (P0) was semen and 1 % NaCl diluter. The second treatment (P1) was semen, egg yolk, fructose and skim milk diluter (2,5%:7,5%:10%). The third treatment (P2) was semen, egg yolk, fructose and skim milk diluter (5%:7,5%:10%). The fourth treatment (P3) was semen, egg yolk, fructose and skim milk diluter (7,5%:7,5%:10%). The data were analyzed using Repeated Measures and differences of treatments with Tukey HSD 5%. Results of motility and viability spermatozoa showed difference significantly (p<0,05). The tukey HSD 5% test showed that motility and viability semen on third treatment (P2) was higher than the other treatments. The conclusions of the research was the addition egg yolk fructose and skim milk in concentration (5%:7,5%:10%) showed the best result.
