Abstract :

Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb is one of the plant which have adventages for herbal medicine. This plant has been used as a traditional herbal medicine since a long time ago and the part  which can be as herbal medicine is the rhizomes. Rhizomes of Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb have many adventages, more specific such as anthelminthic. This research has been done to determine the effect of ethanolic extracted Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb rhizomes to degree’s of kidney damage on layer chicken which infected byc. In this studyfirst, all of layer chicken were infected by Ascaridia galli after that, 100 mg each chicken/day, 200 mg eachchicken/day, 300 mg each chicken/day, and 400 mg each chicken/day of Curcuma aeruginosa Roxbrhizomes ethanol extracted were orally given to layer chicken for seven days after they positive infected byAscaridiagalli. Result of this research demonstrated that ethanolic extracted of Curcuma aeruginosa Roxbrhizomes in 300 mg each chicken/day until 400 mg each chicken/day give significant difference compered with control (PO). It can be concluded that ethanol extracted of Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb rhizomes can caused kidney damage.
