Abstract :

Psoriasis is a multifactorial disease that is caused by the interaction of genetic susceptibility to various environmental factors thatuntil now the exact of genetic susceptibility still unclear. HCR gene is related as the genetic factors underlying individual or populationsusceptibility to psoriasis.This research was aimed to analyze relationships Polymorphism Exon 2 Gene Alpha-Helix Coiled Coil RodHomologue as genetic susceptibility to Psoriasis. The results research PCR Amplicon formed 304 bp, using version 7.0.9 biowin tomake multiple alignment of DNA sequences. HCR gene exon 2 obtained case about the number C251T and C269T nucleotide, that canchange amino acid Arginine become Triptopan this seen in two case (2/24/8.03%), and nucleotide number 421 not change the aminoacids. Other results contained nucleotide G436C can change amino acid Arginin to Serine. The results obtained from fi ve polymorphismin 249, 251, 269, 421, 436 nucleotide which is not signifi cantly different in statistical, because there are polymorphisms in the healthygroup than in psoriasis, which was not signifi cantly different. Conclusion of this study is the polymorphism exon 2 Alpha-Helix CoiledCoil Rod Homologue gene are not susceptible gene for psoriasis Malay Race in Palembang, this is because of the different geographicareas will give a difference frequency of polymorhic sites.
