Abstract :
Contribution to market service charges revenue in Jombang in the last five years is still relatively low atan average of 2.01%. The number of local traders Jombang 9516 as traders are still active trade (open) 8874 astraders and merchants who had hired 642 service facilities do not do any market to sell / close (6.75%), have animpact on the realization of market acceptance of levy of service that should be done charges collection services inaccordance with the market potential or actual market facilities provided. The potential market service charges /place of business is in the market area Jombang in 2011 amounted to Rp. 5056865125. while the realization ofRp. 2781583740, 55.01% and approximately 44.99% of the potential that there can not be free of retribution.Research methodology is descriptive approach using qualitative analysis techniques. Market servicecharges policy in order to increase revenue has been executed well by the Department of Industry, Trade andMarket as SKPD assigned and the authority in the field of community service market, although not optimal.Market service charges policy in Jombang Its targets are all individuals and / or entities who use / enjoy theservices provided by the Government market Jombang. However, its implementation still need developmentpolicies that levy of service revenue market can make a major contribution towards revenue Jombang
