Abstract :

This research studied about the internationalization of the Darfur ethnic conflict that occurred back in 2003 to 2013. Internationalization is a process of change in the ethnic conflict and the expanding scope of actors. Some of the indicators to see whether the internationalization of ethnic conflict occurs is the presence of diffusion, escalation, and intervention from both the UN and some countries that have an interest in Darfur such as Libya and China. The presence of China and Libya also provides domestic change in Sudan in the Darfur conflict. Libyan bring their national interest because of its desire to form the Arab League. Meanwhile, China wants Sudan's oil while helping Sudan in supplying weapons used to attack the people of Darfur. So through research to test these indicators, the authors agree that the Darfur conflict has been a conflict that has entered the international scale. This research also found that ethnic conflict is no longer the Darfur conflict domestic scale, but international.
