Kondisi demografi sosio-ekonomi dan kesehatan akseptor vasektomi

Abstract :

ABSTRACT One of the way method to decrease TFR is by using vasectomy. But the number of vasectomy acceptor is very low. Demography, sosio-economy and health aspect can relate with the participation of vasectomy. Crossectional research conducted to identify the demography and socio-economy characteristic in 41 vasectomy acceptor in Pakal subdistric. Data collection is interview with structure questionair. Acceptor vasectomy 30-50 years old (75,6%), wife 25-45 years old (78%), have 3-4 children (53,7%). Acceptor have education degree of elementary school (36,6%), Acceptor has job in informal sector (41,5%). Acceptor has the same salary or under regional minimum salary (70,7%), Acceptor health is good and there isn’t health change after vasectomy, there is no complaint after vasectomy (95,1%), and acceptor doesn’t visit to health care after vasectomy (68,3%). Demography condition of acceptor vasectomy is married couple in reproductive age and have more 2 children. Socio-economy condition of acceptor have a basic education which have informal job and have a low salary. When acceptor physical health is good and have no complaint after vasectomy so acceptor doesn’t visit to health care after vasectomy. Keywords: participation of men, vasectomy, demography, health
